Before offering their designs to the wholesale world, Bognar Ljustina opened Bognar and Piccolini, a better Coral Gables, Florida boutique that sells the line of sportswear she designs and designs of other manufacturers. Bognar holds degrees in fashion and textile design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in Croatia and the Studio Art Center International in Florence, Italy.  When her designs were added to her boutique sales spiked and she knew they were a hit.  She became partners with Jeanie Cannan Vidauretta who handles the marketing end of Bognar and Piccolini and together have successfully made the jump into the wholesale market.

The partnership is committed to the creation of high quality workmanship and materials in their children's collection. The collection includes knit baby items, colorful European fabrics, and stylish designs.  Although there is great range of hues from soft pastels to bright tones and stripes of some of the prints there is one feature that is evident throughout - fabulous natural fabric choices of pima cotton, silks, and linen in timeless, elegant, and sophisticated designs.
